Rewind

When I watch movies, start-to-finish can be quite a lengthy process.  I zero in on the background, the side characters, the subtleties. I think (I know) it drives my husband crazy to watch movies with me because I make him rewind again and again. And again. I also make him turn on the subtitles. “Jen, it’s in ENGLISH.” “I KNOW. BUT, they are speaking with a slight accent and I want to catch every word they say.” Which translates into more rewinding so I can see what happened while I was reading the subtitles. It takes us about 3 hours to watch a movie. And, unfortunately, I’m usually asleep by the end, so we have to pick it up the next night. Case in point tonight: “Inception”, Round 2. I’m going to try to stay awake.

I love the pics I’ve been seeing of the ‘Safehouse’ from the “Tron: Legacy” set. Acrylic, lucite, 18th century French antiques. The Barcelona Chair, The Eames 670 lounge and ottomon, the Arco lamp. Rewind. When I see the movie, I’m pretty sure I will be distracted…
