My ruffles are feathered

Or, are my feathers ruffled? Either way is apropos, in this case.

Last weekend, I replaced the filing cabinets in my office nook. While emptying the files, I came across this image I carelessly ripped out of a Lucky Magazine at some point, so I’m not sure which issue. I do know that file has remained untouched for quite awhile; it’s certainly not new. That image obviously made an impact on me then, but I think I have to love it even more, now.
