We are friends, neighbors, and obsessed with all things style. Gina designs unique, hand-crafted jewelry and Jennifer practices the art of wardrobe management. It was only natural that they came together to launch a blog and style shop. Cakewalk Style Shop.

When I was a little girl, I loved the Archie comic books. I mean, loved them. As far as I was concerned there were two types of girls; you were either a Betty or a Veronica. I, of course, was Veronica. At least, I wanted to be Veronica. Despite her slightly selfish, and possibly spoiled, egocentric personality, she is a force to be reckoned with. Veronica is no shrinking violet and she is NOT the girl next door. She knows what she wants and she gets it. Betty is too nice. A little bit boring and I find her personality somewhat vapid.
I read on CNN.com that the 600th issue of Archie Comics will be on newsstands in September. The landmark issue finally reveals Archie’s choice. ( drum roll please…)
He is marrying …Veronica!
Yea!!! I’m actually happy about this.
I’m sure that many Betty supporters will be upset that the blonde, blue–eyed, goody two shoes does not prevail. Actually, I liken this to a certain modern day conflict that we all saw splashed across the tabloids.
And, yes. Definitely Angelina. No question.
