Some place to go

I’m going to participate in a media event in NYC to promote my Charmed Circle Jewelry and I need to have the PERFECT outfit. This is the ideal opportunity to get out that purple runway dress. Now the quintessential shoe… I think that these Givenchy wedges from yoox are amazing, not to mention a manageable heel height given I will be wearing them for 7 hours straight.

Wow. I’ll be all dressed up and I actually DO have some place to go.

Growing up in Canada, some of my favorite childhood memories involved classic Cadbury Chocolate bars. Bar Six and the Cadbury buttons being some of my all time faves. Oh, and the Flake. Have you ever had a Flake? The best…

Every Spring I indulge in a little Easter treat. As a throwback to those carefree childhood days, in which I had never, ever counted a carb and fat grams were not in my vocabulary, I buy a bag of Cadbury Mini Eggs.  I don’t even share with my family.
Luckily, neither my husband nor my children have the mini egg obsession.
I, however, love them! I love the colors. I love the crunchy exterior that leads to chocolately, creamy goodness.
I try to prolong the experience for as long as possible.  I only allow myself a couple a day for about a week. When they are gone, they are gone and I have to wait until next Easter.
So, until next spring…

Lucky Spot

I’ve always admired Stella McCartney’s talent as a designer, but I had no idea that she was also an artist. Look what I found on bloomacious.com. McCartney created an amazing crystal “chandelier” installation for the Belsay Castle in the UK. Originally shown in 2004, this beautiful horse image made of Swarovski crystals is back by popular demand.  Absolutely stunning!
